Complainin Bout McDonalds

McDonalds, America’s number one fast food restaurant, most loved by the children of this “great nation”, and yet… the most unhealthy? Yes. McDonalds serves some of the most unhealthy food in America. One double quarter pounder with cheese has more fat than a can of Pringles. Before I go on, compare for yourself. These are Pringles http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-pringles-100-calorie-packs-i106628 . This is McDonalds http://nutrition.mcdonalds.com/nutritionexchange/nutritionfacts.pdf . By my count, almost all of these individual burgers and meals are more fattening and more unhealthy than a can of Pringles.
The point I am trying to make here is although you may love your Big Mac, or your “all white meat chicken selects”, they are extremely bad for you.  Several lawsuits have been filed due to McDonalds being responsible for “making” people obese. Although, I believe it is completely justified, it is not McDonalds’ fault you choose to consume their toxic line up of delicious grease-based products. Would you drink cooking oil? I doubt you would. By consuming McDonalds, that’s essentially what you’re getting: oil and sodium. And worse yet, look at what you’re feeding your children. How much saturated fat and sodium do you think they are taking in by eating a happy meal? First of all, you’re setting up you and your child for a heart attack. Secondly, how well do you think the sugar consumption will go for the next generation or even this one? You could be dooming your grandchildren to diabetes, or even thyroid conditions. Even McDonalds’ “healthy foods” aren’t healthy. They are more coated in preservatives than a fresh Twinkie.  The average American consumes over 2000 pounds of McDonalds per year and at least 11% eat there once daily.
Now, America I don’t expect this to change your eating habits, but if it does, then good for you. I’ve provided only facts and answers. Thank you for reading and blessed be.

  4. I find it funny how some americans still eat it while knowing its crazy unhealthy. I find their food delicious but i dont have it everyday or even every month. It's just to much for my body to handle if i eat it too much.
